Town Center, Munich Moosach, Munich DE, 2025

Our proposal is based on a sensitive continuation of development for the heritage-listed ensemble, repurposing the existing building stock, and constructing a new building based on circular economy principles. It prioritizes preserving as many trees as possible, adding more green spaces, and significantly upgrading open areas where a variety of community activities can take place in the future.
St. Martin’s Square in Munich Moosach will be transformed into a multifunctional, inviting public space that connects history, sustainability, and community. The open space concept preserves and expands valuable green areas while creating diverse settings for relaxation and social interaction.
The new cultural hall adds a striking accent to the historic ensemble and continues its legacy thoughtfully. Its open façade allows the interior space to extend seamlessly onto St. Martin’s Square. Meanwhile, the apprentice housing employs a compact, sustainable construction method that delivers high-quality living spaces for affordable housing. Both buildings emphasize circular construction practices, material reuse, and energy-efficient solutions.
