The historic village center of Bonstetten is being revitalized.
Through precise, targeted interventions, the high architectural quality of the existing village center will be preserved and further developed. An inviting communal space will be created, characterized by uses that serve the local community. The existing structures of the community center will be expanded and adapted to meet new needs. Supported by the enhancement of open spaces, the connectivity between identity-forming locations will be ensured.
The open space concept continues the historic layout of the agricultural village and integrates contemporary climatic and ecological themes such as biodiversity and heat mitigation. The development will occur in stages to minimize dependencies and allow for flexible adaptation to changing needs.
